Designer of electrical installations

IMF Engineering Poland belongs to the IMF Group as one of the most important providers of engineering services in the field of construction technology, with more than 275 employees in 8 locations in Germany. We are currently looking for reinforcement for our team in Poznań in the field of construction planning and/or construction management.

 

Responsibilities

• Working as part of an international design team, collaborating with other trades on the current project
• Responsibility for representing the company in dealing with other participants in the design process, including architects, investors, administrators and conducting arrangements with them
• The main tasks are the design of electrical installations for cubic objects of various purposes. Responsibilities will include creating concepts, but also performing specifications, calculations and schematics, 3D design and design reviews.
• Involvement in all stages of design, from concept to participation in author's supervision and acceptance
• Solving interesting and complex technical problems while having the opportunity to gain experience in project management
• Working in a BIM environment

Our requirements

• Higher technical education in electrical engineering, power engineering or automation engineering
• Professional experience in work related to the design of electrical installations
• Proficiency in CAD, MS Office and calculation software necessary for designing electrical installations
• Very good knowledge of English and/or German (B2+), including technical skills (you will have the opportunity to use the language on a daily basis in international projects)
• A drive for qualification and professional development
• Ability to solve complex problems, critical thinking, creativity
• Willingness to transfer knowledge and share experience
• The ability to design teletechnical installations, knowledge of BIM tools, in particular Revit and Microstation, knowledge of international design standards and norms, on-site experience will be an added advantage.
