Assistant electrical designer

IMF Engineering Poland belongs to the IMF Group as one of the most important providers of engineering services in the field of construction technology, with more than 275 employees in 8 locations in Germany. We are currently looking for reinforcement for our team in Poznań in the field of construction planning and/or construction management.

 

Responsibilities

• Work in an international design team, cooperate with other trades on current project
• The main tasks are the design of electrical installations for mixed-use cubic buildings
• The scope of work will include creating concepts, but also performing specifications, calculations and schematics, 3D design and design reviews
• Involvement in all stages of design, from conception to participation in author supervision and acceptance
• Solving interesting and complex technical problems while having the opportunity to gain project management experience
• Working in a BIM environment

Our requirements

• Higher technical education in electrical engineering, power engineering or automation engineering
• Proficiency in CAD, MS Office and calculation software required to design electrical installations
• Very good knowledge of English and/or German (B2+), including technical skills (you will have the opportunity to use the language on a daily basis in international projects)
• A drive to improve your skills and professional development
• Ability to solve complex problems, critical thinking, creativity
• Willingness to transfer your knowledge and share your experience
• Your additional strengths will be: Ability to think quickly and logically and ambition to expand your knowledge
